Thanks for a great day at Longleat. It was inspiring to see so many riders facing the elements and succeeding. As a cyclist of 19 years, who relishes adversity, I am afraid that I wimped out and opted to wash bikes for those braver than me. (My main excuse is that the previous weekend had seen me riding from the top to the bottom of Wales – 183 miles – and my legs still hurt!).
